Quango chiefs who earn more than Salmond.
FORTY-three quango executives in Scotland are paid more than First Minister Alex Salmond according to Reform Scotland.
A study by the think-tank has revealed an astonishing 132 quango officials are paid more than a Cabinet secretary, and 686 received more than an MSP.

Reform Scotland submitted Freedom of Information requests to the 71 quangos who receive funding from the Scottish Government. The findings of their report were based on the 61 quangos who responded, and showed that 43 officials were paid more than the first minister'salary of PS140,647.
Scottish Water had the highest paid official in Millican, and had the highest number of people paid over PS100,000 with 11 workers on six figures.
NHS Education for Scotland have 10 workers on more than PS100,000, while Scottish Enterprise and NHS Lanarkshire are in joint third place with eight.
