Quality mark for TMTI's Bluetooth testing.
TELECOMWORLDWIRE-18 August 2005-Quality mark for TMTI's Bluetooth testing(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
Bluetooth technology provider CSR plc (LSE:CSR) has revealed a venture with TMTI (Talk Me Through It), a technical support company, to push Bluetooth device compatibility and improve the end-user experience of mobile Bluetooth technology.
TMTI is reported to have introduced an industry approved range of tests that result in an enhanced operability user level to build upon the Bluetooth qualification programme. Those devices seen to pass the tests will be able to add a quality mark hologram with the CSR and TMTI logos on their packaging. The scheme is said to have been taken up by T-Mobile with the launch of its Southwing SH305 Bluetooth Headset.
According to TMTI, it has previously discovered that many mobile phone customers have experienced Bluetooth problems related to compatibility and pairing issues. CSR claimed that the independent testing from TMTI, along with the quality mark, will reassure customers concerned about purchasing Bluetooth products.
