Quality control at its Best!

The capability of having all in-house inspection, testing and vacuum heat treating equipment enables Best Cutting Die Company to have complete quality control over their products. Most other manufacturers have to depend on outside sources, which not only affects quality but delivery schedules as well.

Nearly 3 years ago Best Cutting Die Company purchased and installed their own vacuum heat treating equipment to provide better control over the quality and delivery time of their finished products. The success of this program has prompted the purchase of additional, larger capacity vacuum heat treating equipment With the advent of larger diameter roll work in the rotary die industry, Best Cutting Die Company now offers heat treating capability for virtually all of the newer materials and sizes, to insure uniform hardness and minimum part distortion.

In addition to vacuum heat treating, new state-of-the-art cryogenic chilling chambers have been installed with the capability of sub-zero treatment to -300 [degrees] F This procedure follows heat treating and is used to stabilize the material to increase the life of dies.

Skilled technicians utilizing computer controlled and manual equipment test all parts for hardness and concentricity, as well as edge quality. State-of-the-art programming software assures top quality and dies are tested duplicating actual production situations whenever possible. Optical magnification up to 120X and microscopic inspection guarantee precise edge quality.

Best Cutting Die Company has been serving the die manufacturing industry since 1966 and is proud to say that quality control, service and prompt response are the foundations upon which their success has been based.
