Qiao Xing Mobile Communication Co (NYSE: QXM), a domestic manufacturer of mobile handsets based in China, announced the launch of its new C3100 mobile handset model.
The company said that the C3100 handset is targeted at the low-end and rural markets. The handset has a bright LED flashlight and long standby time. It also offers a large letter display that can be helpful for senior citizens, and a 500 name phone book.
The C3100 will retail at CNY499, which is expected to make the handset affordable for a wide variety of consumers.
