Qaim chairs meeting of elected representatives.

KARACHI -- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday presided a meeting of elected representatives of Karachi Division here at CM House.

The meeting was attended by Nabeel Gabool MNA, Abdul Qadir Patel MNA, Sher Muhammad Baloch MNA, Rafique Engineer, Sharjeel Enam Memon, Akhtar Jadoon, Haji Muzaffar Shujra, Nadeem Bhutto, Sajid Jokhio, Mrs. Shahla Raza, Mrs. Shama Arif Mithiani, Nargis N.D.Khan, Najma Saeed Chawla, Saleem Hingoro, Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, Rashid Rabbani and others.

The meeting was started with recitation of Holy Quran, followed by fateha for Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, said a statement.

The meeting discussed in detail the political situation prevailing in the province, pace of development schemes, and inter-party relations and enhancing the coordination.

The meeting also discussed to immediately initiate coordination with leaders of coalition partners of present government with regard to remove reservations and differences on Sindh Peoples Local Government ordinance-2012.

The meeting in a resolution fully supported the Sindh Peoples Local Government Ordinance 2012 and termed it in the larger interest of people of the province and fully hoped that due to new local govt law, the genuine problems of common men will be solved at grassroots level.

The meeting in its resolution lauded the untirable efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari and positive thinking, political vision, strategy, far-sightedness and policies of permanent unity and cohesion of people of Pakistan.

It was also re-affirmed that present government will take all appropriate and practical measures for depressed and vast majority of people. The meeting fully endorsed its full confidence in the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
