QUISENBERRY RETIRES AS DUPONT RESEARCH VP

 WILMINGTON, Del., March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont (NYSE: DD) announced today that Richard K. Quisenberry, R&D vice president of the Corporate Science and Engineering Laboratory at the Experimental Station, has elected to retire effective July 1 after more than 32 years of service.
 His distinguished career has included a wide variety of assignments in DuPont Fibers, Corporate Plans, DuPont Finishes and DuPont Central Research & Development. Quisenberry, 58, will be on special assignment reporting to Senior Vice President Alexander MacLachlan.
 "Dick has earned an outstanding reputation in the universities and other technical centers around the world," MacLachlan said. "We will miss his energy, leadership, dedication and wisdom in the scientific fields."
 Effective April 1, Joseph A. Miller, Jr., vice president of the Technology Division, DuPont Polymers and Automotive, will transfer to Central Research & Development and assume the post of vice president of the Corporate Science and Engineering Laboratory.
 Miller is a 27-year veteran of DuPont. His previous duties will be assumed by David R. Rea, who is appointed vice president of Technology, DuPont Polymers and Automotive.
