 FOR MID-1988 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1992
 ORANGE, Calif., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Health Resources Inc. (NASDAQ: QHRI) today announced it has published selected financial data for periods from inception in mid-1988 through June 30, 1992, disclosing the impact of accounting for the acquisition of Factor Care Plus Inc. ("FCP") of Tampa, Fla., on April 30, 1992, as a pooling of interests in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This acquisition had previously been reported on Form 8-K and Form 10-Q filings with the Securities & Exchange Commission. The company elected to release the attached selected financial data in order to provide a historical perspective of the combined operating results of the company and FCP for periods prior to the acquisition.
 Quantum Health Resources Inc. is a national provider of therapies and support services to individuals affected by certain long-term chronic disorders requiring life-long therapy. Quantum's Chronicare(TM) service is designed to provide therapies and services that enable patients and their families to manage the patient's condition with greater independence, address psychosocial issues related to the disorder and manage the financial burden of the cost of care.
