QUALPRO INNOVATES 'RESULTS GUARANTEE' IN QUALITY IMPROVEMENT CONSULTING
ATLANTA, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- A "first" in the quality improvement field was announced today by QualPro of Knoxville, Tenn.: a "money-back" guarantee that ensures, according to Chairman/CEO Dr. Charles Holland, that client bottom line improvements are greater than fees paid to the company.
In addition to ensuring significant bottom line impact, "The QualPro Guarantee" will offer prospective clients an alternative "Pay For Performance Contingency Arrangement," with service fees drawn from a percentage of actual gains and improvement. The offering will be made selectively based upon a mutually-agreed set of rules/guidelines between the prospective client and QualPro.
The announcement was made earlier today by Dr. Holland at the conclusion of the company's Fourth Annual Quality Leadership Symposium in Atlanta: "Over the past five years I have become increasingly concerned that most quality programs do not deliver the goods. The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The Harvard Business Review, and Newsweek have all taken America's TQM movement to task for producing shoddy results -- and rightly so."
Dr. Holland continued: "Over the past decade, QualPro clients have been able to demonstrate measurable savings that exceed costs by a multiple of their investment in hiring our firm. Offering 'The QualPro Guarantee' to our current and prospective clients is a logical way to distinguish our company from the growing number of firms that have not been able to bring about meaningful process improvement."
Specifically, The QualPro Guarantee pledges "that if upon completion of either Phase II or Phase III of the QualPro Process the client company has not experienced a bottom-line impact greater than the fees paid to QualPro, we will return the difference." Phase II is the initial success component and Phase III is the implementation component of the firm's four-step approach to quality improvement implementation.
As former head of quality in the Oak Ridge Nuclear Weapons Complex, Dr. Holland sought to bring quality improvement to a new level of sophistication by developing an "Eight Step Procedure for Process Improvement" and by using multi-factored experimental design. Since 1982, his firm has successfully worked with over 500 organizations including Monsanto, DuPont, Milliken, Southwestern Bell Telephone and the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
