QPMC employee clean up Al Wakrah beach.
Qatar Primary Material Company (QPMC) has organised a beach clean-up drive as part of its corporate social responsibilities.The clean-up of Al Wakrah beach on June 1 involved a number of employees and about 50 volunteers. In co-operation with the Al Wakrah Municipality they cleaned up a vast stretch of the beach area. They also held an awareness briefing for beach users to help them understand the importance of preserving and protecting the environment.
A senior official in charge of CSR at QPMR said: "It was fantastic to see so many people participating in the Al Wakrah Beach clean up, showing the commitment that we have to maintaining the natural beauty of our oceans and beaches."
