The board of trustees of the Putnam Funds' Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 1- Class A Shares (Nasdaq:PRMAX) approved a distribution of USD0.0050 per share investment income, the fund disclosed on Wednesday.

All shareholders of record date on 27 December 2017 will be paid the distribution on USD29 December 2017.

The funds are designed for investors who wish for a retirement income, capital preservation and total returns. It seeks income with careful consideration of capital preservation and absolute returns.

Also, the funds invest in a combination of funds and securities, including absolute return funds that seek reduced volatility.
