Put a sock in it and join the fun for charity.
They're some of the silliest socks in South Wales... oh, yes they are!Panto pair Paul Nicholas and Mike Doyle hitched up their trousers to show off their wacky legwear - all done in the best possible taste for a very good cause.
The Cardiff New Theatre Peter Pan stars were joined by children from Allensbank Primary School, Heath, Cardiff, to launch the Cancer Research Wales Silly Socks Appeal.
The charity - which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary - is appealing for people all over Wales to join in the campaign and wear weird and wonderful socks for just one day.
Some of the other events already being planned include a Silly Socks disco, Silly Socks rugby match and a Silly Socks kiss-a-thon for Valentine's Day.
All the money raised is going towards Cancer Research Wales-funded pioneering cancer research projects around Wales.
The charity's fundraising director, Maggie Hughes, said: 'We are very proud of the fact that more than 92p in every pounds 1 we receive goes towards helping to find a cure for cancer in Wales.'
To join the Silly Socks Appeal, ring Cancer Research Wales on Cardiff 029 2031 6976, or 029 2052 1609.
