Note: Allot time for viscosity and uniformity to build. If shear is
not sufficient, transfer to homogenizer for further uniformity. Once
viscosity is built, transfer back to shear mixer. Phase D--Add Phase
D to main vessel under shear mixing. Once uniform transfer to final
container. PROPERTIES: pH--5.0-5.5; Viscosity--spindle 4.0 at 3.0

PROCEDURE: Add phase A to the main vessel. Heat contents to
approximately 70[degrees]C and mix until liquid. Add phase B. When
homogenous, cool immediately. Do not expose batch to prolonged
periods of heating after essential oils are added. Cooling rate
should be rapid, preferably using a heat exchanger, while filling
product. Pomades differ in feel and hardness; variations may be
made by changing the ratio of butters to oils to waxes.

PROCEDURE: Charge water (A) into the main vessel. With
moderate mixing, add Natrlquest E30 (B). Begin heating batch to
65[degrees]C. Add BTMS 225KC and mix. Mix until completely melted
and uniform. Remove heat and add Glycerin and Zemea. At 45[degrees]C,
add Phase B sequentially. Continue mixing. At 40[degrees]C, add the
fragrance and preservative. Adjust the pH of the batch using Citric
Acid 50% solution to 4.6-5.2. PROPERTIES: Appearance--White
lotion; pH--4.6-5.2; Viscosity (Brookfield TC @ 12 rpm, 25[degrees]C),
cps--12,000-25,000; Stability--8 weeks at room temperature,
45[degrees]C, 5[degrees]C, and 3 cycles of freeze/thaw.

PROCEDURE: Propeller mix Fhrt 1 at high sheer mixing until
vortex is observed. Part 2: Add Sodium Borate and Disodium EDTA
until dissolved then add remaining ingredients. Combine Fhrt 3
to create slurry and slowly add to water phase until homogenous.
Add Part 4 to water phase until gel suspension is thickened. Add
Part 5 to water phase until suspension is homogenous. Combine all
Part 6 and propeller mix until homogenous. Slowly add oil phase to
water phase by high sheer mixing until homogenous. Homogenize
emulsion for 5 min at 5000rpm, while adding part 7.

PROCEDURE: Charge all the water contained in the formulation

the Sorbitol, followed by the Glydant Plus and continue mixing.
Add the Balance RCFg polymer and mix until completely homogeneous

PROCEDURE: In an adequate vessel while mixing, dissolve the
propanediol, glycerin, disodium EDTA and potassium sorbate in
the water. Add the Carbopol Ultrez 21 polymer under stirring.
Add xanthum gum under stirring and heat it at 70-75[degrees]C. Mix
and melt phase B ingredients at 70-75[degrees]C. Add phase B onto
phase A under stirring with turbine. Add phase C under stirring. Add
phase D under stirring. Add phase E under stirring. Add phase F
under stirring. Add phase G to adjust pH to 6.0-6.5. *
