Pupils see recycling awareness film debut.

SCHOOLCHILDREN are preparing for the premiere of a film raising awareness on recycling.

The film was produced as part of a recycling awareness week and is opening at Heswall primary school, Wirral.

Red Dwarf star Craig Charles provided the voice for the main character, Wheelie the bin.

A nappy called Terry and a drinks can called Ally teach the children about recycling practices.

Wheelie the bin, with an interactive touch screen computer kiosk, will be touring schools in the region distributing education packs as part of the pounds 25, 000 scheme.
