Punjab govt spends Rs 320 mln for sports activities in Attock.

ATTOCK -- Deputy Commissioner Attock Rana Akbar Hayat Wednesday said that Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was allocating huge funds for promoting sports and Rs.320 million were being spent in district for this purpose.

He said this while addressing a Sports Festival function, organized by Headmasters Association Attock.

Deputy Commissioner said that sports grounds were being upgraded while students were being encouraged to participate in sports.

He said , sports are the only source to keep people healthy and fit to become useful members of the society.

He appreciated the students who displayed better performance during sports competition. Latter trophies and prizes were given away to the best players and best athletes.

On the occasion CEO Education Raja Amjad Iqbal , Senior Vice President PML-N Attock Saleem Shahzad, President Headmasters Association Malik Mohsin Abbas and large number of students were also present.
