Punjab Governor gives "Eidi" to SOS childern.

MULTAN -- Punjab Governor, Malik Rafique Rajwana gave "Eidi" to orphans and unassisted childern, residing in SOS (Save Our Soul) village,here on Wednesday.

While addressing to the ceremony,he said that the managment of SOS village,Multan was providing high living standard to the childern. He heaped praise on the management and also assured that he will provide all the needs of the childern living in the village.

Punjab Governor,further wished and gave eidi among the childern. However,He also promised that he will observe his next eid with them at SOS village.Meanwhile,he also urged local philanthropists to come forward to help needy and poorers.

Earlier, General Secretary of SOS village, Mehnaaz Farid Shiekh gave a brief report about their performance.She said that SOS village were currently present in nearly 132 countries across the world.In Multan,it was established in 1999 with the cooperation of local Philanthropists. She also told that SOS village,Multan was accomodating as many as 1600 childern including women.

Mehnaz Fareed Sheikh claimed that SOS village was playing an important role for the development of the childern and also encouraged high level education among them childern.

She added that SOS village will establish an"Institute of Technology" to impart technical education among the childern.
