Pundit Nev's gone to pot, yer know.

AS Sunderland laboured at Norwich on Monday it was hard to know who to feel more sorry for - Steve Bruce (left), having to watch his side struggle so badly, or Sky's Ed Chamberlin, having to watch in the studio with Gary Neville.

Neville is to punditry what he was to football. He was a right-back for God's sake, one step up from kit-man. Who next on Sky - the tea-lady? Neville is far less likely than predecessors Andy Gray and Richard Keys to 'smash' anything - apart from the world record for 'yer knows' - but with them you got a solidly reliable Bill and Ben act. Rat-faced Neville on the other hand is just pure Ben.

He is 8-1 with 888sport not to last the season on Sky.
