Pubs go to Pott; VOICE OF THE DAILY Mirror.

MORE financial misery these days comes as little surprise.

But it seems less of us are drowning our sorrows in the pub.

Takings are down and a few of Belfast's best-known watering holes are in trouble.

The administrators have been called in and bars such as the Potthouse are on offer to anyone with a fair few beer coupons to spare.

There's less disposable income around, according to the people in charge.

The only things being disposed of at the minute, it seems, are assets.

Trouble is the economy looks like it's going to take longer than a pint of Guinness to settle.
