Publishing industry grows in Brooklyn.
Two Trees Management announced that four new publishing firms have signed leases at 55 Washington St. in Brooklyn. Blow! Magazine, Cabinet Magazine, Soft Skull Press and Wax Poetics are all setting a trend in Brooklyn's burgeoning waterfront community of DUMBO."We are delighted that these publishers have found a niche here in DUMBO, which is a coveted and vibrant community--a mecca for intellectual innovation," said Louise Ehrmann, Esq., associate director of leasing with Two Trees. All of these companies have taken space at 55 Washington St., which boasts 13 foot ceilings, river views and floor-to-ceiling windows. Both Ehrmann and Caroline Thebaud represented Two Trees in the transactions with Blow! Magazine, Cabinet Magazine and Soft Skull Press. Chris Havens handled the lease with Wax Poetics.
