Publishing Phenomenon at the Sharjah World Book Fair.
Millennium House, the international award winning Australian publishing company, will present its pride creation EARTH, the two collection, limited edition world atlas, at the Sharjah World Book Fair, held from November 11 -- 21 2009.
EARTH, a time capsule of planet Earth, has been hailed as a publication masterpiece for its vast and accurate research, excellent cartography, the highest quality of its geographic works and for the exquisite packaging that encases this epic tome.
Besides its weight, what makes Earth unique is how the many facets of any one place are integrated into one volume: physical features, foods and language, agriculture and natural resources, economics and politics, people and culture, climate and geology.
EARTH was recently honored at the International Map Trade Association (IMTA) Awards with Best Book Based Award and the Best Overall Map Product (Graham Stanton Award for Excellence). The Graham Stanton Award for Excellence is considered one of the most coveted awards in publication in the world and acknowledges the true legacy of EARTH.
The EARTH anthology consists of two editions -- Royal Blue and Imperial Gold -- each copy numbered and carrying a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gordon Cheers, Millennium House's Managing Director. The 2,000 copies of Royal Blue EARTH are each hand bound in royal blue leather with silver gilded pages and plates silver corners. The Royal Blue edition is available throughout select shops and galleries around the world.
The Imperial Gold collection is an enhanced edition with only 1,000 copies, each one is hand bound in custom dyed gold leather with stunning gold gilding on the page edges. The Imperial Gold Edition is reserved only through the International Private Collections at Millennium House.
