Publicists join forces.

Two of the New York metropolitan area's leading public relations executives have joined forces to form Great Ink, a-public relations, government affairs and marketing communications firm.

Roxanne Donovan, a former New York Dally News business reporter and most recently head of public relations for the Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc., and Stan Steinreich, a former New York Times correspondent and public relations consultant for Continental Airlines, Bally Manufacturing and Samsonite, will each serve as managing directors of the new firm.

In addition to The News, Donovan also served as senior editor of Commercial Property News and editor of Real Estate Weekly. At ESG, Donovan directed both local and national media relations programs. She was responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to announce major brokerage transactions for such clients as Random House and Coudert Brothers, special events such as the topping out ceremony for 565 Fifth Avenue, add the unveiling of new corporate strategies such as ESG's joint brokerage venture with. Mitsui Real Estate, and its opening of new offices in both Houston, Texas, 'and Westchester, New York.

Steinreich, with more than a decade's experience in public relations, has also worked. as a senior executive with Howard Rubenstein Associates. Throughout his years of experience, he has also handled assignments for the World Jewish Congress, Olympia & York, Kumagai Gumi and Shes & Gould.

His credits include: Creating and implementing the local media relations program for Continental Airline's bankruptcy filing and its recent emergence from Chapter 11; Bally' Manufacturing's media relations pro-. gram as it restored itself to financial health; and Kumagai Gumi's repositioning of its Americas Tower building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.
