BURGLARY - The Royal Hotel, North Road, Kirkburton, Mar 27. Bars on insecure transom window removed and thief forced open three gaming machines and stole cash. Lydgate, Lepton, Mar 29.

Rear patio door smashed and ring, spirits, a TV and documents stolen. Turnshaw Avenue, Kirkburton, Mar 29. Rear patio window smashed and bank card stolen.

Cumberworth Lane, Denby Dale, Mar 28.

At the waste disposal site. Intruder removed two metal bars from security fencing and got into the compound. He forced his way into a portable cabin but nothing was stolen. Mount Pleasant Lane, Fenay Bridge, Mar 2. Insecure garage entered and vehicle window smashed. Nothing stolen.

THEFT - N K Chemicals, Jubilee Way, Grange Moor, Mar 28. Thief got into yard by forcing padlock then stole 80 pallets.

Thurstonland First School, Mar 29. Fence scaled to get into school grounds. Large number of roof tiles stolen.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - The Crofts, Emley, Mar 29. Outer pane of side living room window smashed and rear french patio doors targeted. Witness saw suspect attempting to get in and shouted.

Suspect then made off and got into a vehicle and drove off. Suspect: Male, late teens to early 20s, about 5ft 10ins tall, medium length brown hair. Turnshaw Avenue, Kirkburton, Mar 28. Attempt made to get into house by smashing kitchen window. Turnshaw Avenue, Kirkburton, Mar 28. Attempt made to get into house by smashing a pantry window and side window.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE - Highburton C of E First School, Mar 27. Hut door damaged by repeated kicking. No entry gained. Pingle Nook, Denby Dale, Mar 26.

Plastic door and fuses on outside electrical box damaged. Barnsley Road, Flockton, Mar 28. Air weapon fired at house window.

VEHICLE CRIME - Barnsley Road, Flockton, Mar 28. Air gun fired at rear vehicle windscreen. Ash Brow, Flockton, Mar 29. Thief got into unlocked vehicle and searched glove box stealing purse/contents, passports and mobile phone. North Road, Kirkburton, Mar 29.

Stole front and rear registration plates.

The Foxglove, Penistone Road, Kirkburton, Mar 29. Stole both offside wheels of vehicle. Paul Lane, Flockton, Mar 28. Passenger door lock forced and ignition damaged. Vehicle taken from car park but it was returned to the roadside nearby.
