Pub TVs to be zapped.

ANTI-TV campaigners plan to cause chaos in pubs and clubs next week by using powerful secret zappers to turn off sets.

They are specifically targeting the Chelsea v Liverpool Champions League semi-final.

International TV Turn-off Week starts tomorrow with an aim of getting rid of TVs in public places.

The campaigners' remote controls can turn off TVs within 20 yards.

David Burke, of Anti-TV group White Dot, said: "Publicans will put in TVs because they think punters like it. This week will prove them wrong."
