Pta Bank to issue bonds.

Uganda-based Preferential Trade Area Bank is to issue bonds.

The company is planning to issue bonds worth UGS40bn. It had earlier issued two bonds of USD15m in 2007 and USD10m in 2005 in Kenya.

Stanbic Bank has been named as the arranger and lead placing agent for the issue.
