Prudential named 'good neighbor.' (award for new executive headquarters in Parsippany, NJ)

Prudential named |Good Neighbor'

The Prudential Business Campus has received a New Good Neighbor Award for its new executive headquarters building, Two Hilton Court. The award, given by the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, recognizes outstanding corporate citizens and their economic contributions to the community. Two Hilton Court is the fourth building at the Campus to receive this award.

Two Hilton Court was nominated for the award by Parsippany Mayor Frank Priore. He called The Prudential "an exceptional corporate citizen," and cited community service projects such as a large holiday food drive for the United Way and The Campus' sponsorship of the Pride in Parsippany summer concert series. The Campus recently donated 600 Liberty Elm seedlings to Parsippany and Hanover Townships for roadside planting. The Campus has also committed over $60 million to on- and off-site road improvements in the region.

Designed by The Hillier Group of Princeton, Two Hilton Court has a sleek glass and pre-cast concrete exterior. Inside, a central rotunda has a grand marble staircase and the largest domed skylight in Morris County. The 193,000-square-foot building is located next to the Parsippany Hilton Hotel and Conference Center and is currently two-thirds leased by Deloitte & Touche, the international accounting firm.

Two Hilton Court is the fourth building at The Campus to be named a New Good Neighbor. Arbor Circle (1987), the Prudential Northeastern Group Operations Building (1982), and the Parsippany Hilton Hotel (1981) were the three previous Campus winners.

Located on 567 acres at the intersection of I-287 and Route 10 in Parsippany and Hanover Townships, The Prudential Business Campus has 1.5 million square feet of office space in nine buildings and is a joint venture between The Prudential Property Company, Newark, and US WEST Real Estate, Denver. In addition to Deloitte & Touche, The Campus tenant roster includes Aetna Insurance, Nabisco Brands, BASF Corp., MCI, Corroon & Black, GAB Business Services, Royal Insurance, United Jersey Bank, and the Prudential Eastern Group Operations.
