SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1996--Want to learn which desktop projection product (TM) is the right one for your application, or how to use such products for computer-based presentations, or how desktop projection can enhance the productivity of your workgroup sessions?

All of this and more is now at your fingertips simply by dialing into Proxima (R) Corp.'s new home page on the Internet. Proxima (NASDAQ:PRXM), a leader in desktop projection for large-screen, interactive presentations and workgroup sessions, has launched its own World Wide Web site, which can be reached at

``Our Web site helps to reinforce our commitment to our customers, resellers and presenters,'' said Mary Zoeller, vice president of marketing. ``From how to select and use desktop projection products, to technical tips, to company financial data and employment opportunities, Proxima's home page offers a wealth of valuable information.''

For example, Proxima's Projection Solutions Center gives users access to a broad range of tips on selecting and using the right product.

``It's the perfect tool for identifying your desktop projection needs and making sure you buy the right product,'' explained Zoeller. ``Each solution is illustrated by an application photo that links to customer benefits, product features and technical specifications. You can even perform an on-line search that matches your specific requirements to a particular product, simply by answering questions about your application.''

Also featured is a Technical Support Center where users can find answers to frequently asked questions about Proxima's products, along with field notes and maintenance tips.

Moreover, as Zoeller said, ``This is only the beginning.'' In the next year, she explained, the company plans to expand the site with new product information, tips and advice on developing and making interactive presentations, direct-inquiry response and many other features.

``Our ultimate goal,'' said Zoeller, ``is to provide our readers, customers and channel partners with the information they need to take optimum advantage of the power of dynamic media.''

Graphics for Proxima's home page site were created by world-renowned computer artist Roger Chandler, who sought to achieve a balance between artistically appealing imagery and rapidly accessible data. Bien Logic, an Internet information provider in La Jolla, Calif., developed and will maintain the site. Bien Logic's home page can be accessed at: www/
