Provincial Government vows to resolve genuine demands of transporters.

LAHORE, May 26, 2010 (Frontier Star): The Punjab government will resolve the genuine demands of the transporters and all possible assistance & cooperation will be extended to them. This was assured Provincial Secretary Transport to a delegation of Pakistan Motor Transport Federation led by senior vice president Haji Naseer Ahmad Butt met Secretary Transport and Secretary Punjab Provincial Transport. May 26 (THE NATION): Authority in connection with their demands for increase in fares of inter-city public transport. According to handout issued here on Wednesday, the Secretary Transport assured the delegation that their demands will be considered and proposals will be sent to higher authorities and a meeting of the Pakistan Motor Transport Federation delegation with Minister Transport will be arranged in this regard.
