Project status During the second week of November 2010, Techint Group from Italy has emerged as the lowest bidder for the collection and distribution facilities contract for both gas and natural gas liquids (NGL).

The EPC award is expected in December 2010.

Project scope The scope of work consists of the expansion of the crude onshore production facilities in the Neutral Zone.

Project structure KJO is a 50:50 joint venture of Aramco Gulf Operations, a division of state run Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, which is a subsidiary of state run Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
