Prof & Millie ARE NOT ON ROCKS; HER NAME CHANGE MEANS NOTHING, RAGES RAPPER.

Byline: with Bev Lyons and Clemmie Moodie

FURIOUS Professor Green yesterday hit back at claims that his four-month marriage to Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh is on the rocks.

A magazine reported that the couple, who wed in September last year, had hit a rough patch after Millie changed her Twitter profile back to her maiden name, Mackintosh.

But Pro Green - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - vented his frustration at suggestions that the "magic had worn off " between them with a stream of Tweets denying the reports.

He posted: "We choose to not live out our relationship in the public eye wherever possible and we don't show up to the opening of an envelope, hence not giving you much to write about.

"It doesn't give you the right to print malicious and unfounded BS about us or our relationship."

The 30-year-old rapper added: "Your source is rubbish, none of our friends would speak a word to bottom feeders such as yourself."

He insisted it was a far more cooltempered version of the diatribe he would have unleashed not long ago.

He said: "A year ago I'd have lost my rag. Amazing the difference a year and a healthy mind can make."

Perhaps his healthy mind has something to do with his wife's new lifestyle.

Millie, 24, has been Twitter-happy about her exercise regimes since the run-up to the pair's wedding in Bath.

In fact, ignoring the magazine claims, she merely used her account to talk about her diet yesterday.

But it hasn't all been plain sailing for the couple, with Prof arrested on suspicion of drink driving in November, and then re-arrested and bailed for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The pair are currently renovating their London home together.
