Products share stage with cabinets.

New cabinets, hardware and accessories were among the displays at the 11th Annual Kitchen/Bath Industry Show held March 27-29 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The Kitchen/Bath Industry Show is known for showcasing kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and products for the home such as showers, baths and faucets. Amid these exhibits were a variety of cabinet supplies ranging from drawer slides to recycling centers. The following is an overview of some of the wide ranging products highlighted at the show. Valendrawers has expanded its product offerings to include white drawers and a wide range of drawer accessories. The white drawers are for manufacturers of European styles cabinets who want all wood construction featuring chuck and bore joinery. Circle #436

Grass America has increased the load capacity's on its Model 6063 drawer slide. The slide now has a 100-pound capacity, 25 lbs more than previously. The slide now come in metallic colors and features wheels that have been injected with soft plastic for silent and vibration-free running, the company says. Circle #437

Julius Blum offered a new feature to its Tandem drawer systems. The new system, with the pie cut corner hinge, allows for larger drawers to be installed. The system is self closing and features concealed runners. Circle #438

Mepla introduced the SDS 2061 steel drawer system which come in 21mm, 53mm and 85mm. A captive drawer side, self- and parallel-closing are featured. Soft rollers are standard. Circle #439.

Craftwood tinted veneers from Wilsonart are designed for application to almost any types of furniture of casework. They come in a dozen stock tints from natural almond to black and can be custom ordered to coordinate with any of the company's 110 Color Question solid colors. Circle #440

Nevamar introduced the new Elements Collection at the show. The collection consists of seven laminates which relate to material found in nature and altered by the effects of light, wind and water, the company says. The laminates are: Anthracite, Breccia, Elinvar, Galvano, Geode, Glacier and Nacra. Circle #441

The Pionite Jaguar design from Pioneer Plastics is now available in five new colors: almond, blue, white beige, opti-gray, rose and verde. Circle #442

Avonite showed its Formstone solid surfacing material, which is made up of a special acrylic formulation. The material was created with thermo-forming in mind, the company says. It can be pulled, shaped and twisted. It comes in five acrylic based solid colors that can be used alone or in combination with the company's Granit, Gemstone and Crystelle Collections. Circle #443

To complement its software packages, Cabinet Vision introduced the software package, Photo Vision. This package works with programs such as the company's Cabinet Vision software and allows the user to plot a three dimensional, four color image on the screen or print it out on a color printer. John Boos & Co. offers solid butcher block kitchen counter tops in hard rock maple and Appalachian red oak. The tops are available in any length from 12-in. to 145-in. and a 4-in. backsplash is also available. Circle #445

Rock Solid Inc. showcased pulls made from Dupont Corian. The pulls come in nine different styles of pulls and 13 different colors. Circle #446

Texas Cabinet Doors exhibited its line of natural wood doors. The company offers a variety of styles including curved and Provincial Divided Lite doors. Matching moldings, end panels and peel and stock for face frames are available. Circle #447

Hettich International offers a line of 85 decorative handles which are divided into three product groupings. The first group is made of polyhorn, a phenolic impregnated resin, and comes in 25 styles. The second group is made of metals and comes in 35 styles. A third group consisting of 25 styles is available in solid wood. Circle #448

Liberty Hardware launched its new Euro Concealo hinge line at the show. The line includes the Liberty 26mm and 45mm hinge which are available in three versions. The hinge is available in 110 [degrees], 130 [degrees] and 175 [degrees] and is available in 0mm, 8mm and 15mm crankings. Blind corner hinges and hinges for 45 [degrees] angled doors are also available. Circle #449

Salice introduced a number of hinges at the show. The hinges can be adjusted on three axes. The hinge can be adjusted side-to-side, up-and-down or away from the frame. Circle #450
