Product focus: fungicide + algaecide.

Polyphase[R] 963, a broad-spectrum fungicide + algaecide for solvent-based wood applications, is the focus of technical information released by Troy Corporation. Engineered to be environmentally friendly as well as high performance, Polyphase 963 also factors in a low cost per use. According the company, long-term exposure testing in climates prone to severe fungal and algal growth has shown a high degree of protection for wood substrates. Polyphase 963 was designed to provide solvent-based wood coatings manufacturers with the same broad spectrum performance quality as Polyphase 663, but without the drawbacks that an aqueous preservative can bring to solvent-based products. The product is based on preservative technologies IPBC, BCM, and Diuron. The company has developed Polyphase 963 with a low-hazard profile, low-VOC content, and no formaldehyde or APE.
