Product extends personalized debit card capabilities to community banks.

A WEB-BASED APPLICATION that enables community financial institutions to extend personalized debit card development capabilities to their customers online has been offered by T8 Webware, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Cre8 My Card equips users with a broad range of customizable payment card options, enabling them to pull personal photos from various social media outlets or their personal computers. Banks can also upload and manage their own predetermined image gallery, in which the most common card images are ranked by popularity, giving individuals an even broader selection. During the creation process, customers have full-photo manipulation rights to crop, rotate, resize and/or even adjust saturation of the image to their preference.

Developed to be a full-page experience, the product is installed as an extension to the institution's existing Web site. T8 Webware provides each bank with a specific URL that is branded with its own logo and color scheme to ensure continuity.

The product also represents a marketing platform for financial institutions, as it encourages partnership opportunities with local schools, boosters and other community groups. In providing images for the online photo gallery, organizations can promote customized payment cards through the bank as a fundraiser, whereby they receive a percentage of all purchases made with these cards.

Each design includes the bank's logo (or merchant logo). Upon completion, users are shown a preview of their customized design before submitting it to the financial institution for approval, which then forwards the template onto the instant issue system or vendor for creation. T8 Webware is a strategic Web development, management and hosting firm that caters specifically to financial institutions. (www.T8Webware.com)
