Prize chance for poets.

BUDDING poets are being encouraged to write a piece about Coventry to stand a chance of winning pounds 1,000.

The national competition is open to all UK residents and entries must be no more than 20 lines and 160 words each.

A spokesman for United Press, which is running the competition, said: "We find that poems written from personal observation and experience are most heartfelt and expressive."

Send entries to United Press, Admail 3735, London, EC1B 1JB, before December 31.
