Pritch vows to keep on being good Samaritan.

DIRTY SANCHEZ star Matt Pritchard vowed to keep playing the good Samaritan after seeing the thug who stabbed him jailed for five years.

Heroin addict Mark Edward Smith was found guilty of attacking the TV wildman after he stepped in to help shop staff being abused by the 43-year-old demanding his benefits cheque.

Pritchard, of Pentwyn, Cardiff, was left needing 20 stitches after the attack and was told he could have bled to death.

Drug addict Smith had lashed out with car keys when Pritchard pushed him out of the store in Dereham, Norfolk, last September.

Pritchard, below, said he would step in again to help others in need, but what happened would always be at the back of his mind.

He said: "I am the person I am. It wouldn't stop me. But next time I would be more aware.

"It's sad that you have to think like that but stuff like this does happen.

"People do carry knives.

All violence is terrible, but gone are the days of an honest fight with your fists."
