M2 BEST BOOKS-(C)2000-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Penguin Books is to publish a book by Paul Burrell, former butler to Diana, Princess of Wales.

'A Royal Duty' will be released on 27 October 2003, and a Penguin Books spokesperson claims it will offer "a unique insight into the life of the royal household" and "separate the myth from the truth of the Diana years".

The book includes details of a letter in which the Princess of Wales reportedly predicted her own death in a car crash set up by unknown assassins.

The book, which is being serialised in the UK's Daily Mirror newspaper, has attracted intense scrutiny not least from the royal family who have requested a copy in order to consider any legal implications.
