Prince Takamado to visit U.S., Paraguay.

TOKYO, June 11 Kyodo

Prince Takamado and his wife Princess Hisako will leave for New York on June 24 for a nine-day visit to the United States and Paraguay, the Imperial Household Agency said Friday. Prince Takamado, who is the honorary patron of the Japan Football Association, will attend a soccer match between Japan and Norway on June 26 in Chicago, one of the preliminaries of the Women's World Cup, the agency said. The couple are scheduled to attend a reception given by the organizers of the COPA America tournament in Asuncion, Paraguay on June 28, and watch a COPA preliminary match between Japan and Peru the next day, according to the agency.
