Prima-Temp Launches the Priya Fertility Sensor.

M2 PHARMA-September 30, 2015-Prima-Temp Launches the Priya Fertility Sensor

- US-based wireless temperature monitoring device developer Prima-Temp, Inc. has launched the Priya fertility sensor, the company said.

According to Prima-Temp, the discreet, wireless sensor continuously and passively tracks a woman's core body temperature, detecting the subtle changes that occur before ovulation, and then sends an alert to the Priya app on her smartphone when she is most fertile.

With the device there is no need for taking her temperature every morning, or putting on a patch or sensor each day, or deciphering confusing fertility apps that require her to input data every day, or using messy urine sticks to determine her most fertile window.

The self-inserted sensor provides a method for women to pinpoint their fertile window without having to actively engage in data collection.

Priya will be offered to a limited number of women in the United States to be the first to gain access to Priya at a discounted price.

Prima-Temp is a female-led company that has raised over USD 3m in funding, established a world-class leadership and development team, received two issued patents and has garnered worldwide attention including SXSW awards and the mHealth Summit Venture Pitch award.

The technology behind Priya has been in development for five years, and proven safe as an FDA-regulated product.
