PrideNow Website Adds Interactive ''Freedom'' Feature; Visitors Can Honor Soldiers in Time for Veteran's Day.

EASTLAKE, Ohio -- PrideNow, a leading distributor of flagpoles and accessories, announced today that it has added a new feature to its PrideNow.com website called ""Favorite Freedom." The section allows visitors to click and add their own thoughts to a growing list of freedoms Americans can be grateful for. In addition, the site has other features that help people keep in touch with military personnel and allow them to personally show their appreciation and pride to soldiers and veterans around the world.

Pridenow.com's vision is to create a positive experience for veterans and soldiers when they access the Internet, according to Kim Krane, president of PrideNow. She said visitors report feeling very gratified at being able to visit the site and use the "Post-a-Cheer" feature to enter an encouraging word for U.S. soldiers. PrideNow makes sure that military personnel around the world are made aware when new cheers are added.

"Being able to read the positive comments on the site demonstrates the support they have back home. And our hope is that this will encourage them in their difficult jobs," said Ms. Krane. "We hope that many people visit the site and help keep the positive comments lists growing."

The site also offers a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of what's going on in the Iraq war. "Letters from a Marine in Iraq" features regular communications from a Marine major who reports his first-hand observations from that country.

As a way of introducing the new interactivity, Ms. Krane said the company is offering a special promotion for Veterans Day and the holiday season. With the purchase of any 17-foot or 21-foot flagpole, buyers receive free shipping and a free 60-minute international phone card. "A flagpole presented to a Veteran has tremendous meaning," said Ms. Krane. "It's a simple way to say thanks for their sacrifice and perhaps to touch their heart."
