Pretty Julia set to adopt Indian baby.

REPORTS suggest that American sweetheart Julia Roberts is considering the idea of adoption after suffering from complications during previous pregnancies.

" It feels right that the next member of the family should come from a different culture," a source close to the actress said.

Julia wants more children but her past pregnancies were fraught with complications after the 42- year- old actress had twins.

Given her love for India, she is thinking about adopting an Indian child. Some time ago, the actress had declared that she was practising Hinduism.

However, reports in the western media suggested that she had secretly converted to Hinduism. Her husband, veteran cinematographer Danny Moder, is also said to share her love for India and the Indians.

Julia's film production company is called Red Om Films, because she is fascinated by the ' Om' symbol and its relevance.

Some time ago, Julia hit the headlines when she declared that she regularly goes to temples to " chant, pray and celebrate" along with Moder and their three kids.

Her romance with India started last year, when Julia arrived in this country to shoot for her new film, Eat Pray Love . The actress has recalled that even as a child, she loved India. " My daughter Hazel, in fact, told me that when she grows up, that's where ( India) she's going to live," Julia had said then.

Her son Finn had shaved his head before coming to India. " My kids were really into the culture. Hazel also wanted to shave her head. So I let her shave the back half of her head. They would chant, and they were interested ( in India culture)," Julia had said.

While in India, the actress pleased people by venturing out sporting a bindi and Indian attire.
