President of Union of Employers of Armenia: Armenia does not yet have attractive field for investors.

Yerevan. Armenia does not yet have an attractive field for investors, President of the Union of Employers of Armenia Gagik

Makaryan told journalists on Wednesday, when asked to comment on Armenia's rise on the World Bank's Doing Business Index 2014.

Makaryan said that in some areas Armenia has improved its rank, in others it has fallen back. "There is certain progress in

paying taxes, dealing with construction permits, on the other hand, investments keep declining and will do so in 2014," Makaryan said,

noting that problems like demography and regional instability may outbalance the improvements registered in the rating.

To remind, in the index 2014 Armenia has gone up 3 ranks to the 37th place among 187 countries.
