President Bush Visits YMCA of the Rockies. (CAMP NEWS).

On August 14, 2001, campers and staff at Estes Park Center YMCA of the Rockies picnicked with President Bush as he stopped for a visit during his Heartland Tour. The President talked with campers, posed for pictures, and signed autographs.

The Estes Park News reported that President Bush delivered a brief speech praising the camp's faith-based program, describing the camp as a "community of character" and expressing the need for support of similar programs and the benefits they give to children and families.
