Mike Corriveau has come up with a new twist on the pizza business.

His venture, Preposterous Pizza, is a mobile pizzeria.

Corriveau says a hot dog stand gave him the idea. If the mobile concept worked with hot dogs, why not pizza, he wondered.

Corriveau uses a custom-made vehicle equipped with overs, refrigerators and even a yogurt machine. He estimates his start-up costs at $50,000 to $60,000.

All items served, including pasta salads and sandwiches, are made fresh, according to Corriveau.

Preposterous Pizza can be found on the Metrocentre Mall in downtown Little Rock on Mondays and Tuesdays. Corriveau also serves Union Pacific Railroad Co. employees and employees at the Rand's Inc. distribution center.

Corriveau says he is available for catering within 50-miles of Little Rock.
