You are invited to join beasts from Burbank to Beverly Hills as they don their savage best for a thoroughly untamed world premiere screening of the trailer for the hilarious comedy, "The Animal," starring Rob Schneider and Colleen Haskell ("Survivor").

In attendance to press paws and trot the red carpet will be star Rob Schneider, escorted by a goat, the Taco Bell Chihuahua, Sandy from the musical "Annie," the Budweiser mutt and a ferocious assortment of VIPs (Very Important Pets) including a pig, a cougar, a cow, a baby bear, a monkey, a horse, a sheep, assorted parrots and more.

From the producers of the comedy smash "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" comes the Revolution Studios/Columbia Pictures comedy "The Animal," about small, wimpy Marvin (Rob Schneider), who doesn't have what it takes to fulfill his lifelong dream to be a cop. But his luck changes when he's critically injured in a car accident and a deranged scientist secretly uses animal organs to rebuild him. Energized by his new parts, Marvin leaves his weakness behind and achieves instant fame as a supercop.

Now a hero, life is going great for Marvin, until his animal instincts start taking over his body at all the wrong times. Marvin struggles to remain civilized -- and be a perfect gentleman with his new love, Rianna (Colleen Haskell) -- in a series of hilarious situations that would drive any animal crazy.

"The Animal" is directed by Luke Greenfield from a screenplay by Tom Brady and Rob Schneider. Carr D'Angelo, Barry Bernardi and Todd Garner are producers. Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo executive produce. John Schneider and Tom Brady co-produce. The film stars Rob Schneider, Colleen Haskell, John C. McGinley, Michael Caton, Guy Torry, Louis Lombardi and Ed Asner.

"The Animal" is not yet rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. For current rating information contact www.filmratings.com

"The Animal" is in theaters everywhere on June 1.
