Practice Velocity Announces Collaborative Campaign Supporting Fourth Annual Urgent Care Awareness Week November 14-18.

Belvidere, IL, November 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Practice Velocity, LLC, the leader in software solutions for urgent care and occupational medicine clinics, has announced it will launch a week-long email and social media campaign in support of the fourth annual Urgent Care Awareness Week held November 14-18, 2011.

The campaign will have two key components: five short videos featuring practical urgent care marketing tips from David Stern, MD, CPC, Practice Velocity CEO, and a call for Facebook submissions to help urgent cares increase the reach of their marketing efforts.

Facilitated by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA), Urgent Care Awareness Week is a nationwide effort to increase public awareness of the urgent care industry. UCAOA is urging urgent care owners and operators to “step up [their] efforts to educate the public about the role urgent care can play in ... health care” by encouraging them to host special events, reach out to their local media and contact their local legislators.

As an urgent care vendor, Practice Velocity is joining these efforts by offering five videos with urgent care marketing tips to help urgent care owners and operators amp up their marketing campaigns. The tips will be distributed the week of November 14 via:

• Daily email blasts (subscribe by visiting http://www.urgentcarenews.com and clicking the “Subscribe” link)

• Daily on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/practicevelocity

• Daily on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/practicevelocity

• A wrap-up blog post with all of the tips on Practice Velocity's blog at http://urgentcareblog.practicevelocity.com

Practice Velocity is also asking urgent care owners and operators, both locally and nationally, to share their Urgent Care Awareness Week efforts by submitting links to the news coverage they've received, photos of events they've hosted, special videos, etc. to Mika Doyle, Communications Coordinator, at mdoyle@practicevelocity.com. Practice Velocity will share their submissions on their Facebook page to show how urgent cares across the country have gotten involved.

“We really want to see urgent cares come together and collaborate on their efforts to increase public awareness of the urgent care industry,” said David Stern, Practice Velocity CEO. “We highly encourage them to get involved next week and remember to contact us so we can share their efforts with the public.”
