PowerOptionsPlus issues the following Morning Update for 11/13/01 at 8:30 AM EST.

OVERVIEW---------------------------------------------------------- Although not in concert, the overseas markets are performing quite briskly this morning. Eleven of the 15 markets that we track are positive with an average gain of almost 1.4 percent. The Nikkei lost another 51 points overnight as it flirts with the 10,000 level. The index has not closed below this key level since October 10.

News that the military campaign is progressing ahead of schedule has the futures market responding positively. The December contracts on the Dow Jones Industrials (INDU - 9554.4), the S&P 500 Index (SPX - 1118.33), and the Nasdaq-100 Index) NDX - 1528.75) have all been trading well above their respective fair value numbers with a trend to the upside.

PUT/CALL ALERT---------------------------------------------------- On the Chicago Board Option Exchange (CBOE) call volume out numbered put volume 394,337 to 269,928. Initial reaction to the airline crash gave a healthy start to put demand that quickly faded but not before the put call ratio to move up to 0.684.
