Potholes are driving us potty.

Byline: Cara Wilkinson

I E-MAILED the council in March 2006 about the dangerous state of the roads in Woodway Lane and Potters Green Rd.

I e-mailed them again in September 2006, as the potholes were getting worse.

I received a response to my email giving me reference numbers and informing me that an inspector would contact me.

Nothing happened, so further emails were sent; still no response.

Then in 2007 a bodged attempt to fill in a few holes. In 2008, spoke to our local councillor about the dangerous and poor condition of the roads.

We are now in 2009. How many more years do we have to wait before this problem is addressed?

How many more times do I have to visit the garage to have new suspension arms, and anti roll bar bushes on my car. I also ride a motorbike and have to put myself at risk dodging the potholes. I travel through several different counties on a daily basis and the roads in this area are by far the worst.
