Potholes and bumps; Your say.

I HAVE just paid out PS160 to the garage for repairs to my car suspension - two new shock absorbers - which the garage, as well as me, blame on the monstrous speed bumps down Saltburn Lane at Skelton which are far too steep and are like hitting a raised kerbstone.

I have written to the Government and council about these bumps but no one seems to want to know about them and say that it isn't these speed bumps that are causing the damage and it must be my driving.

On top of this, the roads are still in a terrible state.

There is a hole on the west side of the large roundabout between Marske and Saltburn which has been there for nine months and is getting deeper every day.

Before long you will be able to bury someone in it.

Isn't it time it was repaired? JEFF TEMPLEMAN,Skelton
