A sheriff's deputy in Orlando, Fla., has discovered a novel way to catch speeders. He dresses up, according to the season, warning drivers to slow down--or else. In March, dressed as a leprechaun, he held a sign that read, "Watch your speed or it will cost you your pot of gold." Those who ignored his advice were chased down by cops on motorcycles. In December motorists were threatened by a Christmas elf. It seems to work. In March, police handed out about a ticket a minute.
