* POSTSCRIPT: Last year, we launched our first annual "Leadership Scorecard"-a special issue that gave Soft.letter readers a chance to grade the industry's ten largest companies on such qualities as management, technology, customer service, and marketing. As you'll see from the ballot that's enclosed with this issue, we're back to take a new look at how these top companies (and a few others) fared in 1993. Our subscribers include most of the software industry's important opinion-makers, so this "Scorecard" issue really carries a lot of weight. Please take a few moments to fill out our brief questionnaire and send it back to us for tabulation. Our deadline is November 30 and the "Scorecard" issue will appear in early December.
