Postie's 7.5 ton hoard.
Lisa Jane Harvey, 32, intercepted around 111,000 letters and parcels - more than 50 a day - during a six-year spell.
She was arrested when Royal Mail investigators raided her house but struggled to open the front door because of the huge hoard blocking the hallway.
Mum-of-one Harvey stole job offers, greeting cards, mortgage agreements, wage packets, driving licences and cash and vouchers.
Plymouth Crown Court was told Harvey had even moved house during the six-year period and must have taken all the post with her to the new home.
Plymouth residents complained about getting their post days, weeks or even years late.
One grandmother received a letter last July from her Royal Marine grandson which was posted from a war zone in Sierra Leone in Africa in 2000.
Yesterday, the judge told her: "What you have done damages public confidence in the postal system and your fellow workers."
