Possible step up; RACING IN BRIEF: PLANE.

MIKE de Kock believes J J The Jet Plane could benefit from a step up in trip after he finished fourth in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday.

The five-year-old sprinter was sent off the 5-2 favourite to secure his fourth win at the highest level. But having cut out the early running, he began to feel the pinch before finishing behind Art Connoisseur.

"JJ The Jet Plane ran like a horse that needs more ground (further) and he acquitted himself well," the trainer said.
